Never doubt that a small group of
thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

The PPNA is a volunteer organization and we can always use more volunteers!
Please consider volunteering to help make Portage Park a better place to live and work. No matter
how much or how little time you have to volunteer, chances are there's a pet project you have in mind that
would improve the Portage Park neighborhood.
Don't want to be the only one working on a project? We wouldn't want that either! By all means, talk to your friends and neighbors
to see if they would be interested in helping you. Keep in mind too that the board members support and help out with
individual committee projects as the need arises.
If you have an idea or project that isn't listed below, please
send an e-mail to the PPNA Board with a description of your idea and your contact information and we will contact you.

Please consider nominating yourself, a neighbor, or a friend to the PPNA
Board of Directors. We are always looking for new faces and fresh ideas that will impact the
Association in a positive way.
If you want more information or are interested in volunteering,
please contact PPNA President Gerard Staniszewski at (773) 736-3076 or
send an e-mail to board@portagepark.org.

Would you like to see the following activities in our neighborhood?
- PPNA Meeting Hospitality (hot drinks at PPNA meetings in winter; cold drinks for summer meetings; snacks throughout the year)
- Portage Park Neighborhood House Walk
- Farmers Market in Portage Park
- Portage Park Recreational Bike Club
So would we!
However, we need someone to volunteer to coordinate these activities. The PPNA Board can assist,
but we need someone who's willing to take the lead.
If you want to volunteer to work on these or other ideas, please
send an e-mail to board@portagepark.org.
